Many, many thanks to those of you who came out this past Saturday to our first Postcard Party.
Thanks to you, it was a rousing success, surpassing all of our (very intentionally modest) goals and expectations. We completed 95 cards, and literally ran out of them! Thank you all for your support and participation. To those of you who missed the first party, see the flyer below for more information about our next one, which will be on February 16th from 1p to 3p. You don’t have to give up your whole day (we were done before 3p this past Saturday because, again, we ran out of cards

), and we supply everything. Our goal is five hundred postcards by June, and with everyone’s help we might just make it.
Hope to see you all there!

Please see the attached flyer. The Postcard Party piggybacks on the synagogue’s tremendous activism by using postcards to convey our community’s displeasure over Mt. Sinai’s efforts to all of our elected officials.
We hope everyone will come out and join us. This will be the first of six parties that we’re planning between now and May/June. Most likely all of the subsequent parties will be on the 19th of each month.
We will supply the postcards, pens, labels and blurbs. If you already have some postcards and plan to attend, please bring them with you. We gave some postcards out at the 12/12/18 community meeting, so again, if you took some then and are planning to join us on 1/26, please bring them with you. There will also be light refreshments.
To help us plan, please let us know how many from your group will be coming. We want to make sure we have enough pens and so forth. If you don’t get around to responding but still want to come, by all means please do.
We hope to see as many of you as possible on the 26th, and watch out for announcements about future parties going into the Spring.
